Unbeatable Team India

Team India has proved it that they are unbeatable. After five consecutive wins against England there is no doubt about it. Now, we Indians are eyeing that No.1 position. We are currently No.2 in the ICC ODI rankings.

In this match Indian Captain MS Dhoni won the toss and invited England to bat first. This time England responded well by putting up a respective total of 270/4 on board. Their captain Kevin Pietersen scored a fantastic 106 and remained unbeaten. His partnership with Owais Shah made them able to get 270. Shah scored a quick-fire 65. Like his captain, he also remained unbeaten.

Indian bowlers bowled well to restrict them to 270. India needed 271 runs to win. They started their innings well. It was a great first wicket partnership of 136 runs between Sehwag and Sachin. Then Sachin got out for 50. He played well. Sehwag scored a quick fire 91 runs.

So far, It was a very good batting display by the Indian batsmen. Then England made a comeback back and got the wickets of Yuvraj and Sehwag in 2 consecutive deliveries. At that point of time, India were 154/3. But Dhoni and Raina ensured an Indian win. Dhoni played a responsible innings of 50 and Raina 53 not out. India won the match comfortably in the end, by 6 wickets with 34 balls to spare.

Virender Sehwag was declared the  Man of The Match for his Heroics. It was yet again a great team work. The team is playing like an unit at the moment. We have a very good combination of young and experienced players. Team India, we Salute you. Keep it up!
